Experience the romance, grace, and complexity of Argentine Tango in this immersive 8-week series. Designed for beginners and dancers with some experience, this course introduces you to the essential building blocks of tango in a progressive and supportive environment.
You’ll learn key elements such as posture, walking technique, weight transfer, ochos (figure-eight steps), and simple turns. Each week adds new material, reinforcing previous lessons while gently increasing in complexity. We’ll also introduce you to tango music and how to interpret the rhythm, pauses, and phrasing to create a smooth, expressive dance.
The focus isn’t just on steps, it’s about connection, communication, and presence. You'll explore how to lead and follow with intention, how to build trust in the embrace, and how to move with sensitivity to your partner and the music. Exercises in class emphasize both solo technique and partner dancing.
By the end of the series, you'll feel more comfortable dancing socially and have a greater appreciation for the cultural and emotional depth of Argentine Tango. Whether you come with a partner or not, this course invites you to fall in love with the language of tango.

Do I need to bring a partner?
You do not need to bring a partner. You will partner up during class and we rotate partners often.
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
Yes - Wednesdays and Saturdays teach the same content within the same week. If you need to swap a class - please message us and let us know to update your reservation.
All sales are non-refundable. You must complete use all 4 classes in the current cycle. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
